The safety harness training course is suitable for any employee that will be working at height and is required to wear a safety harness. The course lasts approximately half a day and is taught at the REAX simulation centre in Blackpool.
Harnesses should be fitted and worn correctly at all times. The harness training course teaches proper harness fitting. It teaches how to safely adjust the harness, providing the wearer with a reliable and safe fit. Delegates will also learn how to properly attach associated equipment and accessories including lanyards.
Participants will learn about different forms of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and anchor systems. Finally, candidates will be taught how to attach work restraint systems that offer safe access to exposed edges and understand how to safely ascend and descend ladders.
